Sells itself as a retro site, allowing you to play games in your browser. You have to download a plug-in for it though, and I was wondering if people knew whether it was dodgy or not? Generally sites that do this I don't really trust.

I had a search for it on Reddit before this, and it seemed to spam the site which doesn't set itself up well...

Currently, and until the month ends, we have the option of playing systems either in your browser via HTML5 or via the plugin. Said plugin has been here for well over a decade, receiving updates all along, and we can guarantee it's absolutely fine.

The plugin will be discontinued soon, because it's made on Flash and when the new year arrives Flash will be removed entirely from the internet. Some systems are only playable via the plugin for a number of reasons, but we're trying to get as many of them playable in HTML5 too as a countermeasure.

Maybe after this Reddit can treat us better, didn't know they were so harsh on us.

WilliamBrown : We're legit, we've been here for years. However that plugin is pretty much dead as it used Flash. Until something better is made we're more forum than emulation room at this point sadly. Really great memories too.

Although... Seems legit, doesn’t look dodgy, haven’t got issues with this outdated plugin, tho haven’t tried html5. Seems more like a forum of has beens and old users.

Overall I give this site a 6/10. It’s pretty decent, friendly-ish staff though they don’t worship me. There’s no dedicated posts or forums about me. Would be 10/10 if I was their god. No viruses, safe outdated plugin, should be trusted and should trust me as your ruler

The Flash plugin was safe, as someone who had the same concern when I first registered. It's not necessary any more, though, now that Flash is being killed off. The site itself isn't especially dodgy, outside of having a design that's getting a little dated. You can still do plenty of emulation through RetroArch and its HTML-based web player, though, which is entirely safe. Hopefully you'll stick around on the forum end of this site, by the way, and welcome to the site!

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
