THIS CHAPTER HAS A LITTLE BIT OF YELLING

Chapter 12

Greeny once again watched out his window for Blinky’s team. When he saw them approaching the door, he screamed, “THEY’RE HERE! COME TO DO THE DOOR TO GREET THEM NOW!!!”

“Coming!” Violet yelled back. She told Bronze to get off his tablet and put his electronics away before Greeny could command him to in a meaner way. They all rushed to the door. Silver opened it and greeted Blinky’s team with a big smile. Greeny had him practice that several times an hour earlier. However, Silver forgot to hold the door, so it nearly hit him.

“Thanks, Silver!” Pinky said when he stepped inside.

“Anytime!” Silver replied. That wasn’t rehearsed, so Greeny smiled wide at his enthusiasm. All eight ghosts wasted no time. They floated straight to the office and made themselves comfortable. Blinky took a deep breath and relaxed because this time, Greeny would be doing the talking and presenting. However, Blinky’s team was still on the left side where they had presented before.

“GOOD MORNING to you and your team!” Greeny began, looking at each member of Blinky’s team as he said it. “Before I begin, do any of you have something important to say?” While he asked that question, his smile faded slightly.

“No we do not,” Blinky answered.
Greeny’s “normal” smile returned. “OK! I will start us off then. Me and my team worked tirelessly to find just the right building for our empty maze! Silver, do you have the photos?”

“I certainly do!” Silver replied. He pulled them up on his phone in a flourish. This time, phones were allowed for the meeting. He handed his phone to Blinky. Blinky held the phone far away from his face enough for his team to see. They marveled at the photos because this building was indeed just the right building for them to take over for a bit. When they were finished staring, Blinky gave Silver’s phone back to him.

“So as you can see, it has nothing in it that could get in our way!” Greeny yelled. “And it has that hallway we can use to make it look like it’ll be a legit maze. Silver has painting supplies ready in our closet.”

“Sounds good!” Pinky told Greeny.

“He made sure they were the right colors,” Greeny informed them. “Also, in our fridge, we have plenty of cherries! I’m making sure they stay as fresh as possible. That way, Pac-Man enjoys it so much that he doesn’t realize we’re sneaking up on him!”

“YES! Thank you!” Blinky shouted with excitement.

“Absolutely no problem at all! My amazing team is here to help get things DONE quick!” Greeny bragged.

“We should head over to the building as soon as we can so no one else rents it out for a couple days for whatever reason,” Violet suggested.

“Alright, let’s head over right now then,” Blinky said.
