The end of the world is met not with doom,
But with applause from all.
The stage has been set, and now it is being torn,
The actors are going home.

The end of the world is not met with tears,
Instead it is met with laughter and joy,
Memories of those who came before,
And a message for those who come after.

The end of the world, is not truly the end,
It's merely a beginning, a book-end transitioned.
New chapters, new stories, new friends to make,
Everything continues, but this book is all spent.

This year has caused me to think a lot about the end. With people I know being affected by the pandemic, it feels like death is staring me and others I know in the face. It's not wrong to think about the end, especially in a positive light. That way, we aren't worried about it.
