I'm wondering if anyone here enjoys a game that they legitimately know is bad, or is just generally considered bad by others. I've had a decent number over the years.

I could cite...

- Heroes of Might and Magic: Quest for the Dragon Bone Staff.
- Eternal Eyes.
- Digimon World 2 and 3, though I don't personally think they're bad.

Those are just off the top of my head anyway. Heroes is just a 1 to 1 recreation of the original King's Bounty, Eternal Eyes is extremely slow and easy, plus the Digimon Worlds are 80 hour grind fests, with extreme back tracking.

Do you have any games like this in your heart?

Mhm, for me it's Xenoblade Chronicles X.
That game is my ultimate guilty pleasure.

I understand why people don't like it,
the main story is absolute garbage,
a lot of the characters' designs are just bizarre,
and the multiplayer is practically non-existent -
only a few missions in a very confined area of the map,
and two versions of a raid boss? That's it?
We have this huge game world and we can't
even explore it together outside of these quests?

It's a real damn shame because the game
is really an MMORPG without the multiplayer.
But if you choose to work on doing all the side stuff,
the lore, the depth and intricacies of the
battle system is where the game really shines.

It is about as close to the dream game I envisioned making.
Sometimes I'll plan out what to do for the time that I play,
and I end up spending half an hour just having fun
fighting random mobs and getting lost in the world.

I think in the future people will look back on this one with interest.

I don't play it much anymore but I actually did kinda enjoy Super Mario Kart, the original Mario Kart game. The controls are sooo bad and the maps are incredibly tiny so I can see why most people wouldn't like it. But at least I worked unnecessarily hard to get some gold trophies

I guess I would go with Eragon for 3DS. As far as ratings go, it hovers around a 60 but I've probably played through it in its entirety a couple of times and loved it each time.
