Quite frankly, the cast from Banjo-Kazooie (and not any of its successors, since they all look uninteresting to me.) are the only Rareware characters that actually mean anything to me. That being said, they're all really great and inspired characters.

Conker is an abysmal character, by the way. He is a cynical ungrateful a**h*** whom is mean to everyone who is nice to him. He isn't clever or funny at all, he's just an stupid drunk asswipe. Who knows what other major personality flaws he has, but another big one is that he stars in one of the worst games I've ever heard of, Conker's Bad Fur Day. Prior to that game, he was an okay character, though, albeit pretty shallow. But hey, it's better to be one-dimensional and nice than three-dimensional and edgy.

Banjo is the easy choice.

I didn't start playing 3D platformers because of Mario. I played them because of Banjo-Kazooie.

I'm a huge fan of Conker, though. Kind of wish there was a new game in that franchise coming.
