I was watching a lot of wrestling awhile back, and I swear, Hulk Hogan wasn't exactly as spectacular as he appeared to be. I mean the WWF just kind of let him go off to another promotion in 1993, and fan interest was waning anyway. Probably due to the fact that there were several wrestlers at the time who captured a nicer style than him. I mean in his Wrestlemania match with Macho Man, Macho carried the match essentially. It was a great one, but it's like he brought the cult of personality, and everyone else brought the show. I won't lie, I still enjoy watching his matches, but he certainly doesn't seem to live up to the hype that was once built around him. Mr. Mom was kinda funny though.
One interesting thing about the Hulkster however, is how he seems to consistently hover around the wrestling world. The guy is pretty old now, he was fifty nine in his last match, which is pretty damn old for a wrestler. Then there's this business.

What do you think of all this? Have you ever seen him wrestle? Was he ever one of your favorites? Let me know.
