Probably bump into a whole bunch of stuff, or spend the day in the hospital since I wouldn't know what was going on. I feel if I knew it was only for a day I would really just chill in bed all day, it would still be scary though.

After doing a little research, I think it depends on the type of bus...

  • A school bus I would let anyone ride for free. I know of some private school buses that do cost $$$ - not when I'm the driver!

  • A public access bus I would let people ride for free.

  • A (non-school) private or chartered bus is a tougher one. Initially I would think to make sure to force them to pay the fare, but people on these buses might be more well-off than it seems, and the possibility is open that whatever they tip you would earn you extra... so... I'd probably let them on free too!

TL;DR I'd be a s*** bus driver employee because everyone's on for free.

I'd hope that day ended as soon as possible. I can't imagine having no arms for even just a single day. I'm so used to having arms and using them that I'd generally just have to resort to having my wife help me with everything until the day ended.

This would be a good motivator to finally start learning some sort of sign language, which has been on my personal to-do list as I think it's simply useful information to have, but since it only lasts for a day I don't think I'd get far. Maybe it would at least spark a motivational fire within me? Not much would change on a personal level though, I'd have to call out of work I guess since my job is talking all day lol. But I don't think I'd be fussed or bothered about it and probably wouldn't do anything or react in any special way.

Specifically only for a day is an interesting question because that eliminates the possibility of me learning lottery numbers or something, winning the lottery, and then coming back home to that changed reality. So I think I'd only go backwards probably for research/curiosity's sake... maybe around the dinosaur era just to see what they had going on? lol. I guess on a personal level too I'd like to go back to a day when my grandma was alive and be see her healthy and thriving one more time.

If you were the world's most renounced scientist with access to all tools necessary to study or do whatever you want in your lab for a single day, what would you do with yourself?
