Youtube is a fantastic place to watch videos that are informative and a big genre on the platform is on movies. My favorite ones to watch are Redlettermedia,they take no money from major studios like Collider,CinemaSins,WatchMojo..ect. It really shows because especially Collider kisses Disney's butt to no tomorrow on anything they do. They also review lesser known movies from independent studios like A24 and Full Moon.


They also review certain TV shows as well,they just posted a review of "The Mandalorian" a few days ago and its wonderful.

Last but not least is the "Mr.Plinkett" character which is so incredibly great and developed in small indie films fan before youtube was even a thing.

While he's not just a Movie Reviewer he does quite a lot of them and I believe he does a really great job. I've been watching Sabrespark for god knows how long... feels like forever, but ever since he got into reviewing Cartoon and Animated Movies he's honestly somebody I still come back to often to this day. He has an edge that really sticks out for him and I really enjoy it for that. He's pretty informative as well, it's good stuff if you're into Cartoon/Animated Movie Reviewers.

Another one I'd have to give a huge Shoutout to is Steve Reviews while also being another Animated Movie reviewer he usually talks about much darker animated films with really isn't seen often.

I know they aren't do Live Action Movie reviewers but they're solid in their own right and personally would recommend them alone on their unique traits and charm.

Mine would probably Cinema sins, although I'm not really able to watch it as much as I'd like to anymore I still enjoy watching the videos and sometimes even re-watching some.

pennylessz : I used to love AVGN but ever since the partnership and learning he is no longer writing or doing any creative in the episodes it's been VERY evident. I guess they don't even record at his house and he kinda just comes in,records his appearance and leaves quickly. I just no longer feel he is putting in effort anymore.


Nostalgia Critic was found to have covered for a Pedophile in Jew Wario aka Justin Carmichael. Plus he treated all the people on the site like complete garbage to the point where one of the management was repeatedly sexually harassing a fellow male member repeatedly and their response was to get rid of the victim unless he worked with them. Then there was the incident when he filmed the movie and used people like slave labor. Doug Walker is just in general a bad person. I'll give you a link on if u didn't hear about it.

Cinema Sins is kinda a bunch of jerks too,some of the sins they come up with are just complete jokes and they contradict themselves.

Just sharing my opinion but you guys are free to like who u choose.

I've watched re:view a couple of times but only after I've seen the movie. I never watch a review before I see a movie. Before I see a movie I only go off the trailers and news stories, never reviews.

zanderlex : I usually watch a review for films I was only semi interested in to see if I really missed out on anything or not they are also pretty fun to watch.

LuckyCharms : Personally I don't see the point in reviews for movies. Unlike a game review, a movie review pretty much spoils everything. You watch a movie review and that's it, you don't have to see the movie anymore.

I think it is a good way of seeing what other people think about it from many different perspectives which I enjoy doing.

Richard Roper is great for avoiding any storyline or plot points in his reviews. I watch RLM's reviews to see what they thought from a film makers perspective.

RE:View is great for them going back and looking at movies and talking about what made them so great. The Warriors episode with Macauly Culkin was spectacular,he has a real love for the film like I do since I was a kid. The game Rockstar made like 25 years later was really excellent too.
