The time has come for a PSA. Supposedly, provided you believe they existed, most dinosaurs had feathers.

Look at this hilarious thing, can you believe it's a T-Rex? I don't like it one bit. I remember watching the ‪Walking With Dinosaurs‬ series, with great delight.
My bald lizard babies fought to survive, but now they're just Big Bird from Sesame Street. Don't get me wrong, I love Terror Birds, but these are dinosaurs.
It makes me so sad, my heart can't take it.

SonicOlmstead : See that's the problem, it means terror lizard, not funky bird. Can you imagine the original Jurassic Park films with a T-Rex like this? I'm not sure what Jurassic World is like, but I hope it's staying inaccurate.

I mean this makes sense, given how birds are the closest relatives to dinosaurs currently alive.

You might think this thing looks hilarious but the dude was still taller than you are and those teeth and that jaw isn't so funny.

Now I would however like to challenge one to an arm wrestling competition.

Anyone who bets on the dinosaur will most likely win so I wouldn't blame you.

I'm no dinosaur biologist but I'd imagine they still have really strong muscles all around their body, including the little midget arms.

It's rather interesting, I watched a documentary on this once and they tried to recreate what it may have originally been like and weirdly enough apparently they weren't able to roar either instead they make a low sound. When they move even though many movies depict them moving in a manner similar to people where it's rather focused on their hind legs, they actually have to lean forward more when moving to counterbalance the weight of their tail. I think I should watch documentaries like this more often. XD

I laughed at the part where you compared this version of a dinosaur to Big Bird. Excellent AH AH AH (laughing like The Count from Sesame Street)

Anyway, man that's sad. At least I find it funny.

An update on the T-Rex, it may not have had feathers after all. They're not sure, but apparently it's no longer a sure thing, which so good for our friend here.
