The Hulk is underwhelming

I've been watching a lot of Marvel movies lately, and I swear, the Hulk has been done dirty.
He got one movie, far less than all the Avengers, they say there's no chance for a second one. What's with this Hulk hate?
The Hulk gets his butt handed to him in almost every movie he's in, and Banner doesn't even want him around. He's basically not a hero, he's a menace.
At least he gets a little better in later movies, but his character development is still really low compared to others at this point.

pennylessz : Doomsday is DC so there is no telling there but Doomsday also grows stronger as he battles kind of like a Saiyan but like times 1000. Has an exoskeleton and can survive space with no oxygen. I dont even think the Hulk could do that.

I can completely agree that Hulk get's almost no love from the MCU it's pretty sad really I use to think the Hulk was cool when I was younger but now he's just kinda there for me and he doesn't normally do much in the movies.

Although I hate to admit it since I love the hulk, he does kinda get pushed to the side in comparison to all of the other super heroes which is a shame because personally I'd really love to see him get more love. Here's to hoping I guess.

I feel like I'll have to agree on this, not just for what happened with his movie but also what happened in all the others.

For starters, while I didn't see his MCU movie, I hear it was really bad. Beyond that, he's had so many missed chances in the other movies, especially the more recent ones. In Infinity War Hulk gets destroyed by Thanos and doesn't want to be Hulk anymore. The rest of Infinity War kind of builds it up to be Like Hulk is going to be rebuilt and end up coping with his troubles.

That happens but it happens off screen, we just see the new and improved Hulk in Endgame but we don't know the development. Plus in Endgame there was supoosed to be scenes between Hulk and Black Widow that was going to close out/repair their relationship/arc but that was cut because of time constraints.

zanderlex : Banner has a huge inferiority complex. Basically because he's mostly just used as a Hulk containment device. But let's be real. This guy helped Tony release Ultron. That was irresponsible, and he had no repercussions for it. His arcs don't provide depth, that's probably why I don't like him. They also wrote his girlfriend out of the MCU right after his movie. I don't think they even explained it. Banner's story is way different in the comics, and they should've followed that version more.
