I wonder how many of you guys are old enough to remember these shows. Video power was a syndicated show where they had kids compete head to head in gaming.



I remember it being on early morning before I went to school so I had extra incentive to get up and get going so I could watch it while I ate breakfast.


Nick Arcade was pretty similar but had higher production values and the winner had the chance to enter the video zone to win bigger prizes. I remember one episode they were giving away a Neo Geo and I was sooooo jealous. They used to give away gaming systems on Bozo the Clown's "Grand Prize Game" and I remember practicing in case my parents ever took me to Chicago.
