Which Ape Escape game is the best?

There's actually quite a few of these if you count spin offs. I've only really played the first two, but I'd like to know if three is considered the bread and butter of the series? They seem to have stopped making these spontaneously, maybe it was bad?

Two will always be my favorite, as monkey soccer is practically a full game, and the Freaky Monkey Five is hilarious, if not named incorrectly. Do you have a different fave?
