Normally I work on my elliptical and also use the rest of my home gym. When I bought my house last year I wanted to make sure I had enough room for a home gym. I've slowly but surely bought different gym equipment including a bosu ball, yoga ball, resistance bands, free weights, and a stationary bike. I just need to get a weight bench and weights to go with it.

I find that if you have a gym at home that I have more time to get workouts in. I know everyone is different though and maybe you are the opposite of me and like to have other people around to motivate you. I used to drop alot of money on a fancy gym but after work I would be so tired I didn't want to drive to the gym after work. Having it at home allows me to do it in the morning before work and then do my morning shower.

What is your opinion on this subject?

I don't go to the gym often but when I do I just go to the one at school. It's free, convenient, and an easy way to intimidate freshmen.

I don't have a home gym.

My workouts also don't really require a gym of any kind.

I do my running on roads (I hate treadmills and elipticals) and trails. I do my stretching outside on the street before a run. I do core workouts after my run, in the street. If I need to do anything extra, I'll grab the resistance bands from inside (the one tool I do use) and do a few exercises to work out what feels lacking for the day.

I go to a gym every day. It’s not spacious with equipment but it has what I need plus it has its own sauna to relax in and sweat off the pain after a good workout. I wish I had a home gym but weights are expensive. $1.80 per pound to put it into context

Now that I graduated, I'm not entirely sure if my ID will still let me into the school gym. Once the school reopens, I'm going to try it out and if I can't use the facility anymore, either as an alumni or a member of faculty, I plan on getting a Planet Fitness membership.

I don't have a lot of equipment at home that I use to work out. However, I have a stationary bike that I use pretty often. Also, I do a lot of other exercise outside. I do basketball, baseball, walking, and bike riding.

I think that people should enjoy working out at home if they are consistently motivated enough to do that. If they aren't, they might want to consider going to a gym and working out with others they know, if they can afford it.
