Hi there! I am BillyTime and I have been rom hacking for about three years now. Last october I set out to create new game genie codes for Addams Family Values on SNES.

I achieved this through Geiger's SNES9X debugger by using breakpoints, cheat search and CPU Trace Logs. Eventually I had a bit of help from Jlukas, from which point the project snowballed into something much bigger. This hack now aims to improve upon the original in many ways as well as make the game easier for anybody new to the game.

This is pretty cool, I'll definitely check it out. Even though I don't think I've seen this game before. What have you been doing since you posted this?

This is really cool to see being posted to the site and congrats on being able to finish it I've never tried rom hacking but I can imagine it being quite the task to finish even more so when you don't make money off of making it but to get back on topic I'll have to check it out sometime.

Since I posted my hack here, I have submitted this Hack as well as an Addams Family Values Boss Rush hack to Romhacking.net

Both hacks have been accepted. Currently I am finishing up a Super Mario World rom hack. Most of my releases go on my site at Billytime.com as they are small goofy hacks outside Romhacking.net's mission statement.

My next plan is another Addams Family Values hack which involved an amalgamated dungeon. Think of The Void level from The Binding of Issac but without the randomization.


Its really a labor of love, I never really wanted money creating rom hacks. For me, this was a way to present my own spin on our beloved retro classics rather than wait for something to hopefully pop up.

I loved the Addams family films and I plan on watching the new one whenever it comes out too so I'd definitely like to give this a try sometime!

So I had a thought that just typing about my romhack simply isn't good enough. So I thought I'd record a video for people to watch explaining some of the various new features Afterlife Edition has to offer.

I'm thinking If anybody likes these types of videos, I'd make more just to showcase my other various romhacks. I've been doing this for about 4 years now and have created some really cool hacks, some goofy hacks and some hacks to honestly just kill time. Anyways, Enjoy!

Necropost but one of great importance! It comes in a couple parts.

First and foremost, I would like to thank the administrators for adding my Boss Rush Hack for Addams Family Values. It brought a smile to my face when I really needed it.

Secondly, I have finished a third hack for AFV. The Gauntlet!
Basically you navigate through a super dungeon with limited health and healing items. However, I need your help and I'm willing to let to board have first crack at it! I will offer a download link for the BPS patch file and instructions below.

What I am looking for in insight on the hack's difficulty, Is it too easy, too hard?

I just did a full playthrough moments ago and enjoyed myself but I have also been playing this game on and off for 22 years so It certainly didn't give me stress.
