I mean, look at all the different boards on this forum. I couldn't find something uniquely "General Chat" to post about if I tried. Unless it was about General Chat, which it is! I feel like this board is kinda like an extra board for David to post important stuff in. And then people throw random stuff like this in. I'm not sure if that's even useful to have around. I never even questioned it when I was twelve. It's probably a good idea to bring the development forum out to the public.

It’s honestly a good question. We really have so many forums, for just about anything.

General Chat is somewhere to make threads you want people to see, since this is the most browsed forum. It’s kind of a catch all, and as long as a thread doesn’t have a 100% specific purpose, it can be dumped here.

Conversations about regular things and stuff like return threads belong in General Chat, especially if it isn’t as personal as something to put in Your Forum.
