For me, it's like a mix of nostalgia and sadness. A good portion of my old friends have disappeared forever. And yet, it barely looks like this site has aged at all. I want to keep posting and give this place my all, but I'm not sure what to even talk about. Things were easier when I was an awkward kid. Now I'm an awkward adult.

I find this place nostalgic. At the moment its one of my last links to emulated games. I used to have an awesome offline emulator-set-up on my windows partition of my laptop, but then it became inaccessible due to bad clusters and memory issues with the boot data. Hopefully I can get it working again without wiping out all my files. Also emuparadise has shutdown all its downloads, which was where I used to be able to reliably download my roms. Anyway in the meantime I'm glad I can still access most of my favorites through vizzed. It very convenient being able to access my old favorites on my laptop instead of having to set up all my old systems. You can't beat the classics, but it'll be a lot easier once I buy a switcher.

Norriegirl93 : There's workarounds to still use emuparadise actually. Though I haven't tried any.

I feel like it's an old home that I can come to. It's the only site that I keep consistently coming back to, and I've have the most history coming here. It's more of a part of me at this point.

Can't think of another site like Vizzed. It's old school.
In some ways, it's great that much hasn't really changed, just people have.

Joined here when I was young, so I can enjoy seeing how awful I used to be.
Really miss the gang that was active here, what, two years ago? Three? It's been a hot minute.

That said, is it me, or is the layout for this site just, kinda confusing to look at?

It makes me feel pretty happy I guess. I've made a lot of friends here and I've made a lot of fun memories.

Just a site I always catching myself having open for no reason and not feeling like closing the tab.

I have really enjoyed the site so far even though I haven't been here for very long at all, I think it is really fun talking to and getting to know the people on here and discussing topics that I enjoy that I normally wouldn't really be able to talk about since the majority of the people I get along with don't really play games that much.

The board always makes me feel like I have something to do no matter what.

IRL, I could be done with work or school for the day, and I could have checked all my emails and used Twitter or Facebook, but then I can come here and There's always something to do for hours and it helps when there's nothing to do or you're bored with being a real person.

Going to reply to this again from the perspective of a new year and an even higher position than last year.

Still makes me feel happy and nostalgic, but so far this month I've also just been strangely energetic. I don't know, it's like every day I find something going on or to do here, and whereas in the past it always took a deep sigh to bring stuff up to other mods, it's kind of happening naturally.

Some of them are probably sick of me bringing up stuff constantly but they're going to have to get used to it :3

It makes me feel at home it's kinda funny of all the things that have changed in my life over the past four years this has been the constant and I wouldn't change that for the world no matter what was going on with me I have always been doing something on the site even if it was my early years with the site where I would only play the RGR or the Minecraft server where I met a lot of my close friends on the site and even my girlfriend or even times I'd go ages without posting the site has been a constant place of feeling open to talk about whatever I need to and be able to just talk about video games. Honestly it's crazy to me that I get the opportunity to try to help the site in my roles as Global Moderator and as the MC Head Admin (Sorry if you think Mc is off topic but I have and always will consider it a part of the site) and I'm just thankful to give back to the site that has gotten me through so many rough times.

This site makes me feel a variety of things. Some good. Some bad. But all of it is still a feeling.

This place may mean more to me than a lot of people. For many, it's their internet home, where they laughed with cherished friends.

For me, it's the place where I finally got my groove back, and was able to prove my worth to a lot of people I worked alongside.

This place is a labor of love for me. I would love nothing more than for it to get back on its feet and be an active forum again, but those days are long past... and then I start to feel sad.

To me this site gives me a sense of doubt. Like do people really think negatively about me (other in the chat rooms, understandable hue hue hue) or do they have a different mindset in this site? Personally I like this site it helped me out through the years and after ten years being a member you know I’m dedicated, even tho I rarely do much activity

Vizzed Board makes me feel hopeful because I know it isn't always common for people to have such good discussions about topics without arguing excessively. On this board, I've been impressed with how polite everyone is even when discussing tough topics.

I think you summarized my feelings pretty well. Definitely a mix of nostalgia and sadness for me.
