For me, it's like a mix of nostalgia and sadness. A good portion of my old friends have disappeared forever. And yet, it barely looks like this site has aged at all. I want to keep posting and give this place my all, but I'm not sure what to even talk about. Things were easier when I was an awkward kid. Now I'm an awkward adult.

I find this place nostalgic. At the moment its one of my last links to emulated games. I used to have an awesome offline emulator-set-up on my windows partition of my laptop, but then it became inaccessible due to bad clusters and memory issues with the boot data. Hopefully I can get it working again without wiping out all my files. Also emuparadise has shutdown all its downloads, which was where I used to be able to reliably download my roms. Anyway in the meantime I'm glad I can still access most of my favorites through vizzed. It very convenient being able to access my old favorites on my laptop instead of having to set up all my old systems. You can't beat the classics, but it'll be a lot easier once I buy a switcher.

In some ways, it's great that much hasn't really changed, just people have.

The board always makes me feel like I have something to do no matter what.

IRL, I could be done with work or school for the day, and I could have checked all my emails and used Twitter or Facebook, but then I can come here and There's always something to do for hours and it helps when there's nothing to do or you're bored with being a real person.

Going to reply to this again from the perspective of a new year and an even higher position than last year.

Still makes me feel happy and nostalgic, but so far this month I've also just been strangely energetic. I don't know, it's like every day I find something going on or to do here, and whereas in the past it always took a deep sigh to bring stuff up to other mods, it's kind of happening naturally.

Some of them are probably sick of me bringing up stuff constantly but they're going to have to get used to it :3

It makes me feel at home it's kinda funny of all the things that have changed in my life over the past four years this has been the constant and I wouldn't change that for the world no matter what was going on with me I have always been doing something on the site even if it was my early years with the site where I would only play the RGR or the Minecraft server where I met a lot of my close friends on the site and even my girlfriend or even times I'd go ages without posting the site has been a constant place of feeling open to talk about whatever I need to and be able to just talk about video games.
