Hi everyone, my name is Pokegom. 
I am a pseudo veteran of this great website, having registered here since 2011 - I was 10 back then, and now I'm turning 18.

Back then, I used this website to play retro games like Pokemon Emerald, Zelda Ocarina of Time, Pokemon rom hacks etc. Because all that my family could afford for me was a laptop, I didn't have much access to consoles. Luckily, by going around the web, I stumbled upon this website. Back then, I felt like I belonged somewhere when I was in this website because people here were friendly and the boards on this website were very elaborate, and people can just talk about anything.

As time went by, and the age of smartphone slowly enters into the world, I started to become distant from this website - then I eventually forgot about Vizzed. Until now, when I was studying for my public exams, I suddenly thought of Vizzed - memories of me playing Emerald, and talking with people on this website popped in my head. Therefore, I decided to make a comeback to this website and maybe become a more active member here. Like I said, this website is beyond giving people a platform to be able to play retro games for free, but this website is also a place for people to settle down and talk to people around the world - that's why I want to become an active member of this website, and meet some new people.

So... I don't really have much friends here on this website, but here are some things about me.
My real name is Isaiah, and I am 17, class of 19 going to college in the next school year. I play video games and piano in my free time, I spend most of my time being an active all-star cheerleader and coaching my team (For the record, I am not gay - straight cheerleaders exist.). I play PS4 (Yes, I am a console peasant) and am currently playing Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3 (Yes, I hate myself a lot.).

The site may be a tad slow nowadays, but that makes us all the more receptive of new people joining the site. You can likely find ways to speak your mind about a variety of topics and someone will respond to it, assuming it isn't a two sentence statement saying "i luv chez!"

As for me, I'm just that guy working in his shack coming out every now and then to pick up more snacks and then talking to people along the way, or occasionally posting a long winded rant about the inaccuracies of Nintendo space-time.

Welcome back! I too recently came back after years of being inactive. Activity has definitely slowed down a lot since my years of being on here but it's still a great place to be. I actually think it's better this way because you get to see the same faces around more often and allows you to get to know people better! If you ever need someone to talk to feel free to add me and shoot me a PM! Never been a music guy but I respect anyone who can play a piano, they're one of the most powerful instruments to me.

I see that the day you posted this was the last day you logged on. Well, I hope if you read this. I'm trying to build a real effort to increase forum activity. And I'd be super greatful if you'd help out with that.
