Starting tomorrow I'm going to be at South By Southwest. I'm going to go to a bunch of sessions and do some fun stuff like go bat watching and see movies anf stuff.

Day 1 was just terrible.

We were supposed to leave New York at 4 PM and leave Houston at 8 PM and get to Austin at around 9. But the flight out of New York was delayed an hour so we missed the 2nd one. The next flight leaves Houston at 9:47 but they could only confirm 2 tickets out of 7. The rest were on standby and some got later confirmed tickets. One got a ticket for 11PM, 1 got a ticket for 7 AM the next day and I got a ticket for 2 PM the next day. The other 2 had to be standby for each flight.

So we would have each person arriving hours apart. Luckily a flight that was going to connect to the 9:47 was 2 minutes late so they gave us all their seats. Then we got to Austin 5 minutes after they closed the rental place but they still gave us a car. Once we got to the hotel they said we had rooms but nobody paid for them yet so it took a few hours to get to our rooms. Then we played switch all night.
