It's me again with another crazy conspiracy theory about something that just doesn't make sense.

This time we're talking about the movie The Commuter. If you've seen the movie maybe you noticed that the number of cars on the train is flat out wrong.

Throughout history, there's always been issues with showing real trains in movies. In the iconic Spider-Man scene, it's a Chicago train running along a track that doesn't exist in the middle of New York. In the Taking of Pelham 123, the book is accurate but the movie puts all the trains on different tracks that aren't even compatible. Even in the Ghostbusters remake you see an express train going north on a south track in a place where there's no express tracks, and it's going to a place trains don't even go.

But they're all okay compared to what happened in The Commuter. Yes the train in The Commuter is also riding on a different, sometimes non existent track, but I'm talking about the length of the train.

There's one scene inside the train where you can see the interior of all the cars and the camera zooms out through every car. There's 7 cars. There's the driving car and there's the car where the main character found money (which was actually mentioned as the 2nd car) behind that there's 4 more passenger cars and a broken car. That's 7.

Even when the director was talking about how the train was made, he said it was very difficult to film in 7 cars in such a right and confined set. He confirmed it was 7 cars.

This is where all the exterior shots give their two cents. There's multiple exterior shots of the train and in all of them, there's only 6 cars. So what's up with that?

I'm ready CinemaSins. Fight me.
