Here is how this thread will work:

Each person will contribute to the story in their reply. They can contribute as much as they want, or as little as they want. You can write one sentence, two sentences, ten sentences, one sentence and then stop halfway through a second, whatever you want. Your post can be 100 words, 1000 words, or just 1 single word. It doesn't matter. Just write what you want and keep the story going.

Rules:

-Whatever you do, you cannot write "The End." You can make the story seem as if it is towards the end, but you cannot definitively declare that the story is over, because as the title implies, the story is never over.

-Read at least the last 3 posts in the thread before replying. This is so you have at least some context about what others have said, and what is going on in the story.

-Continue where others have left off. If one user is talking about how a dog named Johnny is hanging out in a bar, the next user should be talking about a cat named Sidney that's eating Pringles in a meadow.
