So the 8th and final season of Game of Thrones was just announced for April of 2019. I personally am super excited about this season. I've watched this show a couple times through now and it just gets better every time I watch it.

I'm also glad that the release date didn't get pushed any further out than April. I think that was the already pushed out date so the fact that it stayed there is a relief.

So, thoughts on the next season? Hoping for anything in particular? Anyone you hope to see dead, and who do you hope kills them?

Lexatom : I did that with my wife right after Season 7 came out. She had never watched it and was a bit shocked by a lot of it.

We're watching it again but a lot more slowly this time to get ready for season 8. We've got 4 months and 5 and a half seasons to go. I think we'll manage!

I still need to catch up on Game of Thrones. I don't have HBO anywhere, so I was streaming it on an app I have a few years ago. I stopped at the end of season 3 a few years ago.

I think I'll start rewatching the entire series before too long, and hopefully be up to date by the time season 8 premeires. If I'm not mistaken, isn't the 8th season the final one?
