So I took a sort of short term leave from Vizzed roughly 6 months to a year, within that time frame I've had a little baby boy named Alaka'i he's five months old now, and I've also in my spare time been reacquiring some retro games that I sold back into my collection, as well as acquired a ps2 slim and castlevania symphony of the night. I've also made a career change and now work for the United States Postal Service. I look forward to getting back into the community I was so found of growing up.

It's always nice to hear that the people taking a leave of absence have gone searching for new adventures xD

I sure hope you're enjoying parenthood. My cousins have been welcoming several new members to the family these past years, and while I don't have to babysit them, I'm quite used to see new faces around town every so often. Quite a curious name you picked, but you wouldn't have picked it if it didn't have a meaning or was a name of high personal value for you.

I wish we could welcome you a bit more warmly, but sadly things are pretty dead around here. I'm partially to blame, because I dedicate entirely to my staff roles (which focus on a "less important" part of the site compared to the boards), but even for a post like this I'm having a hard time to find the words to say.

His name is Hawaiian in origin it means leader, his mother choose the name and I fell in love with it ever since ^^ lol. But don't blame yourself for the decline of the forum side of the board, the RGR was always the real focal point of vizzed the forum was more or less just icing on the cake. RGR was a big reason the site died, yes. However, there are a lot of reasons why many veterans (including myself) have left the site and many people will tell you different things. This is the first post I have made for about a year and a half now I think. I came across this thread and replied to clear up confusion about why many veterans left the site.

I do want to point out that yes, my responses and my personality in those years was very rude and disrespectful, and I apologize to anyone who was caught up in that. My beliefs about the incident have not changed very much, but the way I showed my opinion was uncalled for. I realize that now.

Nice to see you again! I'm glad to see members return. I would challenge the "vizzed is dead" statement; I believe it's "slow", not "dead". For now.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
