I can get Beatmania IIDX games to work on here!!! Well, sorta...

Finally! It was a pain in the butt to set up my files, but I can now play Beatmania IIDX arcade mixes on here with the RGR plugin.That being said, I've found not all styles will work properly in MAME. So far I can only get IIDX 4th Style, 6th Style, 7th Style, and 8th Style to boot up proper even though the backup RAM check fails. Also, the sound and graphics are pretty much wack, but I was warned about that being an issue from people who dump the ROMs.As far as the other styles go, many of them fail the DVD drive check or the sound check, and will not boot up properly, although you can still run the test mode from the twinkle startup program. Still, good that I can get these games up and running! Hopefully the MAME devs will eventually figure out how to get all the IIDX games completely working just like the old 5-key Beatmania games.

I am sure there is a way to get them past the checks, but I don't know if its really worthwhile, since MAME doesn't particularly emulate them very well.

There are emulators that currently do work fairly well for Beatmania, so I wonder if the devs would put much effort into it.
