In case you live under a rock, or some other place with equally poor internet reception or have a lack of interest in purple dragons, you've likely already heard, but here you go anyway.

It was announced this morning in an official capacity: the Spyro the Dragon trilogy is coming this September, and it turns out that The final product's name isn't Treasure Trove Trilogy, but Reignited Trilogy. The release window and name were discovered yesterday via Amazon when a retailer listed the Spyro the Dragon: Reignited Trilogy as being available in September, but it wasn't until this morning that we got word directly from the source.

Looking good, little buddy!

By way of features you can look for this trilogy to bring you not only redone visuals, but also analog support, a "reimagined" soundtrack, and new rewards (whatever that means). Finally, the original voice actor for Spyro in the second and third games will be coming back for the remake.

So there you have it: Spyro soars back onto consoles in seven months. Or to be more specific, he should arrive in six months and sixteen days (September 21st). Let the hype begin.

I am honestly so excited for this game. The news for it really came out of nowhere. I am not sure if we should have expected it after getting the Crash Bandicoot Trilogy re mastered, but it is really nice to see that they are continuing the trend of re mastering some older games for the new generation to enjoy!

Overall, I am hyped to see what comes next.

I saw this on youtube lol not now but sometime ago. Look how the old classics are just getting a new built in of games lol. I am hoping CTR gets the same treatment if they do it would be so amazing.....imagine if you think multiplayer on the game was amazing think how it would be as a remastered version! XD

I have been really wanting to play it whenever I see it around and it is usually on sale too so that does also help to make it more tempting to finally take the plunge and just get it already but I am always really hesitant whenever I get a new game.
