They are red seahorses- OK WHO HAS THE TIME TO MAKE ROBOT EVERYTHINGS? Anyways, these seahorses like to come out of the ground (marked with bubbles because why not) at the most inopportune time, and after curling up into a ball, they like to home into your position. Well they’re robots but I guess they’re compact enough to do it, but I didn’t know they were that compact. I guess technology really has evolved.

They appear in Launch Octopus’ stage underwater, and in the PSP remake, they also appear in Sigma Stage one. And like their (I guess) boss Launch Octopus, their weakness is the Rolling Shield.
