Hey, vizzed members. With this post I've officially posted more today than I have in the past month (and I've posted 3 times today). At some point that I don't even remember anymore, I completely fell off the vizzed board. I'm here to attempt explaining it.

There are many times where I suddenly dropped my activity in the forums but this time it's permanent. This has been true for me for like 2 months but I've been waiting to say anything. I just saw in this forum that I announced my return the month I became inactive again. I'm tired of doing that. Every time I say that, it doesn't last very long. I'm still thankful for my burst of activity during the July TdV but again, bursts don't last very long. I'm not sure why my interest kept swinging like it did.

I'm also not sure why my interest dropped so much so quick. As I said, I'm attempting to explain it though so it doesn't feel like I'm hiding. I think it's because I've been making time for different things and re-prioritizing my hobbies. Some of those hobbies include:

-recording video games/TASing (not important XD)
-writing poems
-writing stories (including a 24 page Christmas story I finished)
-reading and reflecting

I have reached a point in my life where really, aside from video games as my down time, I want everything I do to be something that won't just disappear. My interest in posting was one of those things that I felt like kept disappearing and I couldn't do anything about it. I wanted to do it for the site and for the activity to rise. But I keep getting steered in another direction.

I have realized all this the most now as I'm back from a 5-day stay at my friend Derek's house. Being able to dedicate almost a whole week to someone I appreciate, and hadn't seen since August, felt incredibly good. And now it's pretty sad to get back to normal but I'm very happy to be back home with the family I missed.

Basically, I'm just getting my feelings out and apologizing for making promises about interacting with everyone on the forums. I hope to leave profile comments more often

Looks like real life has made your plans for Vizzed Pac-fire.

You don't really have to apologize. In your other threads, you're making some big steps in real life, which is also common for your age, and you're putting the focus on them rather than on here. You've been staff, an active member for a long while and winner of a TdV, so it's understandable you now want to pursue other goals outside of Vizzed.

It's a bit sad to not see you around as often as we'd like to, but if at least you don't have any bad news to report about your real life then it's alright. Just remember to drop by every so often, and we'll be here to welcome you with open arms.

Well, if you have a PS4 or XBOX ONE, shoot me a message. I'm a Twitch Affiliated streamer, and I'm always looking for cool people to play with and feed off of. I'm not very great at streaming solo style when people aren't talking in chat; I prefer to do it "Game Grumps" style as I call it.
