in regards to the things that have changed on Viz recently I just thought it would be a good idea to make a thread about Viz I joined here over 5 years ago and continue to come here on a daily basis not just because I,m a site staff member but also because I still find Viz to be one of the best websites to come to for classic games even though atari and nintendo both had games removed in my opinion Viz still has a great selection of games that can still be played and not only are there plenty of games but many different game systems as well in fact I can,t think of any other website that has as many different game systems as Viz and like many others I have also noticed that traffic is slower than it used to be 5 years ago and that some people who used to come to Viz are no longer around but regardless of these two things that have happened I also notice that some people have came back and that new people continue to join Viz which in my opinion shows that the Viz community is still pretty strong and as long as many people continue to come here Viz could still be around for years to come

i hope it sticks around too, even though i've honestly lost most of my incentive for coming back. i'll definitely keep coming back though, mainly as a lurker. being on vizzed was like my favorite pastime for most of middle school, and the friendships i made with a lot of people on this site really helped me a lot, even though i don't really talk to anyone here anymore. i'm just checking back to see what's going on with whoever's still here because i hope they're doing well and because i'm just curious i guess. basically i don't even care about the site's main purpose (video games) anymore but i really, really, really hope it stands strong for david's sake and because it felt like my safe place for a long time. i don't technically have any reason for coming here anymore but it holds a lot of sentimental value for me so i will, maybe even as an active member eventually but that's not really the point (plus it would be kinda awkward since i haven't made an effort to keep talking to people on here, so i'd feel kind of pretentious to just bounce back and be like "what's up people!"). long story short, i'm never gonna actually leave for good, but i don't see myself returning "with a bang" that easily since i feel kinda bad for drifting away from my friends on here. i still care about y'all, but i guess i've just grown out of this kind of thing (posting on forums, befriending people on forums, befriending people online, etc.), and i'm also not really proud of the kind of person i was for most of my time on here. i was and still sort of am somewhat boastful. i'm trying not to be but hanging out around here sort of brings those tendencies back since it's really easy to talk all about yourself on social platforms like this, and frankly that's what i did most of the time i was on vizzed haha. but yeah i hope it stands strong for a long time and if it does i'm gonna be there

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
