Some things that have bugging the hell out of me is inactive/banned/people who dont post showing up everywhere. I took the liberty to edit a few files.

You will notice we dont have a billion birthday on the index page thats because you have to meet these qualifications...

Must have account above banned status
Account must have 10+ posts
And it has to be your birthday of course

ACS has been altered too if you're banned then you do not show up on the ACS either.

I look forward to implementing a few more features, this should also help speed up the servers response with not having to grab a billion account that only play games.

Well surprisingly, this is something I fixed on my own

Apparently the table which is responsible for containing all the content of the posts had crashed (god knows how) so I repaired it. It only took me 4 hours to figure out that was the problem

As you can all see, there are some Errors throughout Vizzed Board. So far they are only in the threads and on the reply pages, but those are critical pages for them to be on since that prevents us from posting.

Anyway, I'm working on getting these errors fixed but currently have no idea in the world what is causing them. If anyone knows of a PHP expert that might know the problem, please show them the errors, I could use all the help I can get to get this problem fixed.

To keep in touch with eachother, you can PM eachother still and can also use the 'Shoutbox' to talk back and forth.

Hopefully Bigbob comes on soon, or even Randy.

Vizzed Board will be the Official forum for Get-Your-Rom.com just until Get-Your-Rom.com gets a new forum up. The previous forum on GYR had so many spam bots that we were pretty much forced to just close it down.

For reference purposes, the old forum is still up and can be viewed here: http://www.get-your-rom.com/forum/YaBB.pl

Those who were staff on that old forum can have their staff positions back on this forum, just be sure to register and PM me and I'll give you your position back.

You may be noticing some things may look differently and such and its supposed to! Because starting today things are getting coded/uploaded for the new board version.

Please do the following:


    Report:

    • Errors
    • Things that dont look right
    • Anything you feel should be reported


I feel that some of the things in this release will be so pwnage some of you will realize you never could do backflips until now.

Please report anything that you feel needs to be reported to me, or David, BB if im not online.

The current new feature is Side Boards.

SideBoard 1 will contain most of the original vizzed board forums.

SideBoard 2 will contain anything to do with Flash and Game Development.

SideBoard 4 will be anything related to vizzed.com, such as arcade discussion, forum help, etc.

This is an offer to ANYONE!

Ok, I'm willing to pay anyone $5 (US 5 dollars) for each and EVERY member that you bring that becomes active (and not thru spamming; can't be of the same ip location either).

I dont care how you get the members to the board (it can be a friend, someone you found in a chat room, advertisement on a different board, etc), but all they gotta do is become active (or atleast get 25-50 posts), and it can't be spam! As soon as they've reached that amount of posts, I will add $5 to the amount of money I owe you.

If you bring 2 members who become "active", than I owe you $10. If you bring 10, than I owe you $50! There's no limit to how many you can bring, I'm capable of paying out as many as you can bring. All I need is some sort of proof that you brought the member; either they should refer to you, or mention in their newbie thread.

Also note, I will be sending the money out in November! So, I will tally up how much I owe each person, and than send them their money sometime in November. You can specify how you'll want to receive the money. Paypal or money order thru the mail. ALSO, if you earn enough money for somethin that you'd like for me to order on the internet for you (with my credit card), I will order anything you'd like, as long as the price of it is equal to or less than the money I owe you (including shipping).


Most importantly, PM me who you brought, before and after they become "active".

Sorry for being late on this I finally figured out the problem and this is now fixed.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
