Staff has decided that we need a few rules on ask anything threads.

From now on there will be no non-staff ask anything threads. The only 2 that remain are mine and Rasen's. All the rest have been closed.

The rest of the ask anything about [topic] will remain open. If anyone would like to start one of those threads I would ask that you PM your idea to the staff and we'll decide whether you can start that thread or not. Failure to do this will result in your thread being closed and you not being allowed to have an ask anything thread at all. In order to have an ask anything about [topic] thread you must have at least 250 posts in order to prove that you are a well established member of the board.

Also, I want people to post other things that aren't "ask anything" in this forum. This place is ABOUT YOU! Tell us something interesting about you that just happened. Did you win an award, or compete in a tournament or do well in school.

PyGuy got a PS3 and announced it here. While it may not last long... it's something about him that he is excited about. I want more of that stuff!

Update - We've had a string of "Leaving" threads showing up and many people are tired of them. Partially because many people say they are leaving only to be "convinced to stay" a day later and the thread gets closed or trashed. From now on all leaving member threads will be trashed unless they are to announce a temporary leave from the board. If you are leaving the board forever then tell the people you consider a friend and then go. Leaving member threads generally degenerate into flaming and accusations of what caused that person to leave and we don't need further drama. - Leggy Note - THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT. THE STAFF IS BEING INSTRUCTED TO DESTROY ON SIGHT.

When someone summons a mod to close a thread, don't post in there. Let the mod come in and close it.
