I cant wait for the spring when the games come out in america. i guess there will be no old pokemon (you know the first 493) until you beat the game. ive also noticed a pettern latly with the pokemon games. they came out with firered and leafgreen then they came out with a new gen. then they remade gold and silver and now they are making a new gen. so a sapphire and ruby remake next would make sense.

Update: really no one is going to post updates. ok i will. starter evolutions (possible ones they arnt official but they come from a reliable sorce so it could be true) have been revealed. here http://serebii.net/index2.shtml is where you can see them. i personally dont like what the final evolves look like and i hope they are fake.

I like the idea of the dream world. It's just cool that now you can use your computer to increase happiness and capturing rare pokemon with different abilities. Also i heard a rumor that on pokebeach.com their could be 157 new pokemon making 650 altogether. Last thing i want to type is goodbye magikarp ,geodude , ponyta, machop, zubat, onix, gastly and all those old pokemon that have been in every gen and see you in my dreams! Remake could be darkness and light!

Nathan09 : luckly there are only new pokemon for the whole game until you beat the elite 4 then the old ones come back probably...idk maybe you get to go back to the old regions but i doubt it.

i know theyll be good games, but i doubt that they will be remakes of ruby and sapphire

they made crap tons of money of money on ruby and sapphire (even though nintendo tries to rakes as much money as possible in) it would be frivelous. I mean having remakes for gold and silver were enough for me but remaking another one?

big fat cat : Because people will buy it. There will be new features, and the ability to import Isshu Pokemon later in the game. The biggest draw of the remakes is importing Pokemon not otherwise available in that Generation. Which would be easier and more practical: migrating from R/S/E to D/P/Pt, then onto B/W? Or just trading from a R/S remake?

Yeah there are people that will buy it but I agree there is a massive drawback with the import feature.Seeing as it would be unfair to users with a DSI or a DSI XL. I mean it feels like I have to go and buy another DS lite but they should just rework the system GBA import if there is to be another remake or game though it seems black and white won't have this implemented.

LAST UPDATE

This is my last update because i dont want to spoil the whole pokedex for myself. So all the gym leaders have been revealed. The first gym will be a gym that changes depending on what starter you choose. The second gym is Aloe and she is a normal gym leader (look forward to Whitney all over again). The third is Aati and he is the Bug gym leader. The forth is Kamitsure who is the electric gym leader. Fifth is Yakon who is the ground gym leader. Sixth is Furou who is the Flying gym leader. Seventh is Hachiku who is the ice gym leader. Finally the last gym leader will depend on which version you have and will be a dragon type gym leader. In Black its Iris and in White its Shaga.

Well according to pokebeach around when munna was revealed pokebeach said that in the first gen (red and blue) a lass said that there was lots of strange pink pokemon with floral patterns which matches munna. So maybe all of the 5th gen pokemon were plan for 1st gen. And if they ever make a remake of Kanto ( is possible since the kanto region has been in every game) it may be obvious where munna will be found. There is still a chance pokebeach is wrong because clefairy might of been planned to look like that.

I'd like to see a comprehensive Pokemon game. One that covers every region of Pokemon versions so far. I thought it was awesome when Pokemon G/S/C offered you the option to travel to Kanto from Johto and back. To see something like that again would be awesome. I just feel that Pokemon has become a bit too repetitious.

On bulbapieda you might see a pokemon tornelos well your thinking whats so special about the pokemon but he might be the first and only very pure flying type pokemon! here's the link of it if you haven't seen him (It's only male). Hopefuly it's real

I'm pretty sure the games are out in Japan but, not positive. Either way, my understanding is that they are geared towards a darker atmosphere with more serious looking pokemon than cuddly ones. Additionally, it appears that there is now a Pokemon PETA (Which was predicted in my existential stoner "if pokemon were real" converstation at the top of North Mountain)

cob : Yes the games are out in japan so if you can read or you don't really care about the writing, try ordering pokemon black or pokemon white from japan.

I have played the japan version all the pokemon look so odd nothing like any of the pokemon seen before reminds me of when diamond and pearl came out I wonder why did they skip pokemon yellow and crystal remake I mean they had no problem making red green,gold and silver remakes.

hi, the 5th genartion starters are pokabu, mijumaru, and I dont know hiow to spell the new grass pokemons name .

*sigh* I'm getting kind of sick of all these new generations of Pokemon. Most of them make the newer games lame (like Guardian Signs) I kind of want something more like Pokemon Yellow or Emerald or one like that.

I would love to see a Ruby or a Sapphire remake, but I'd rather see a yellow remake first to be honest. I mean it's not too much to ask for, right?
