Nintendo is the company that made this memorable game. Nintendo is a video game company that has been around for more than thirty years. This company has a long history of video games. Nintendo was first seen in 1975 with another company named Mitsubishi Electric. In the same year, Nintendo developed a video game system called electronic video recording and then the next year, they urbanized home-use video game in cooperation with Mitsubishi. In 1981, Nintendo build and began distribution of the coin operated game known as “Donkey Kong.” This arcade became the most popular in that year. In the year of 1983, Nintendo sold the home video game console called the “Family Computer (Famicom).” Now in 1985, Nintendo started to sell the U.S.A. version of the “Family Computer” known as the Nintendo Entertainment System. The year, 1987, is where the NES became the number one hit with the games Super Mario Bros., Duck Hunt, Golf, and R.O.B games.
Also in the franchise games of 1985-1987 is the game Legend of Zelda. Legend of Zelda is a mix of an adventure game and a dash of RPG. It is the first video game to have the concept of saved files. This game first starts off, talking about how many years ago a dark prince named Gannon stole a triforce of power while Princess Zelda had the triforce of wisdom. Before Zelda was captured by Gannon, she hid eight units of the triforce in eight different dungeons. It was up to Link, a young Hylian boy, to travel and explore the land of Hyrule, get the pieces of the triforce, paste them all together and go save his beautiful princess.
What I like about this game is its addictive, music, and the medium-hard challenge. Legend of Zelda is addictive for its characters and game play. The graphic is decent but the parts of Hyrule are tremendous. What I found a little disappointing is the map in the left corner. Even though the map is a gray box and really dull to look at, I will not let it get in my way of playing. The music in this video game is fantastic and a memory especially Death Mountain’s theme. It is also catchy when you play it long enough. The medium-hard challenge makes this game a heart-pounding moment as you go through the mountains, forests, and woods. You would face through tough dungeons and unlocked a piece of the triforce and new health. Also, you build up your character as strong as he could be. So the bottom line: THIS GAME IS AWESOME!
Legend of Zelda is shared through the years of video games. As the series get better, also the challenges get harder. The designer of Legend of Zelda, Shigeru Miyamoto, really had an idea of this game. Even though the game is awesome, it will be the experience of an endless adventure that will never be forgotten.
