A lot of the changes were the result of them butchering the other movies. The Harry Potter films have always managed to piss me off as a fan, but the last film is relatively low on my list... it just kinda sucked because the first half of the book is rather slow.

That said, I WILL be seeing this one... I might even spring for 3D just because of the fights and the dragon. Maybe.
