Bio:
Ricky Steamboat debuted in the AWA in 1976. After that, he went on to star in the NWA and various Jim Crockett promotions until the mid-eighties when he joined the WWE. It didn't take him long before he found himself the I-C Champion after defeating the Macho Man for the strap. However, soon afterwards nhe asked Vince McMahon for time off to be with his expectant wife and was punished and stripped of the title. After a few years he drifted back to the NWA and continued to wrestle in other promotions including the WWE until his retiremnet in 2005.
