One of the bosses The Chosen Undead must defeat in order to access the Kiln of the First Flame. They are found in The Abyss under New Londo. They were given a fragment of Gwyn's soul. They fell to absolute darkness though and were granted Life drain by a primordial serpent (likely Kaathe) after being granted Life Drain, they sucked the humanity out of each Undead in New Londo, the Undead now live in New Londo as ghosts that will attack The Chosen Undead when they come to New Londo.
Description:
Lord Gwyn recognized the foresight of these four great leaders of New Londo, and granted them their ranks and fragments of his Lord Soul. Sadly, they fell into the Dark after a primordial serpent offered them the Art of Lifedrain.
