I'm currently playing Chrono Trigger for the first time and I have to say it's VERY good. Don't know why I haven't played it before.. After finishing it I would like to find some new great RPG to play trough.. So if people have some epic games on their mind they want to suggest me, I would be glad to check them out, and hopefully like em.. Something from the NES, SNES, SEGA and PlayStation 1/2.. Don't suggest any Final Fantasies because I have played almost all of them. Thanks for reading this..

Phantasy Star 4 for the Sega Genesis is one of my all time favorite RPG's. I've played it multiple times and it doesn't get old.

Find a guide for it though because it can be a bit confusing the first time through.

If you ask me, Mystic Ark is a very under-looked & underrated masterpiece. You may even learn something from playing all the way through the story the game tells.

Cactuar : the first 3 are also good but are on an older system and not as nice looking in comparison. Plus I prefer the story of 4 over the others. Mostly personal preference but number 4 is the best in my opinion.

Breath of Fire II, it's a really good game though I recommend using the re translation patch with the SNES version as it is very hard to understand without it.

If you're looking for a good RPG, an obvious suggestion from me would be Super Mario RPG. That game is criminally overlooked as a real good RPG. If you played that, the Mario & Luigi series is good too, which is Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga. (Getting the new games in the series wouldn't be a bad idea either.)
