it might be the highest during the actual olympics but that same team that Canada beat 18-0 beat another team in the qualifying round before the olympics actually started 82-0 from what I heard.

Yes .... The interview with the Canadian who get Silver made it clear that he was thankful just to get Silver. Apparently he missed the jump right before the American guy passed him so he lost the speed he needed to win.

Regardless of that I bet he's just bloody happy to have won at all. Beating out 30+ other people to get silver has got to be sweet. Gold is always the goal... but I wouldn't complain about Silver.

Norway jumped up in the standings. They won several medals today. Canada still in the top 5 I'm thankful to say. We don't dominate ever, but we generally have a good winter olympics. Glad to see we're not far behind in the gold category at least.
