can i just say that i'm happy with the amount of votes that have actually been given, Alas we don't know how many are legitimate at this moment in time, but for a first time election this has gone pretty well,

As geeogree said, I'm not the only one with an absence, and I've been back for a month now and active (enough to be more "in the loop" than you'd think)!  My absence was pretty justified, and most people will have a point in their lives where they have to step away from something.  It just happens in this thing called life. haha!

Also, the fact that I've been absent, but garnished some amount of support..... should definitely speak about my qualifications, I think.    I've been on staff and been a local before, too (as well as been registered for almost 4 years).... so it's not like I don't know how the job works.  Never fear... if indeed I do win, I'll do the job right and put both feet forward.

Many of the voters (with this amount),  don't even know me well, either, so I feel pretty confident in saying (and hoping) that this wasn't a vote of popularity, but one in which decisions were made on qualifications and capability.

I do appreciate the thoughts, though.

I keep counting the total and I'm actually impressed as well.  I wasn't expecting so many people to take an interest, so it's quite awesome that there has been this much involvement!

Makalya : Maybe you are right but do not pre-judge please. I have voted for Singelli , although she called me stupid (after I made joke with her) and do you know why I voted Singelli ? Because she was Mod before, because I have read a part of her life, because I saw photos of her with baby and husband, before so far I have not seen any photos of other candidates, I have not read any part of their life. All canditates deserve to be Mod but only one can win. Sorry geeogree that I declared my vote.

Singelli : You've been back for a month give or take a few days. Makalya was just saying that to become local mod a month after a 10 month hiatus, isn't exactly fair to the users who have stayed active for years on end.

From my position, the person who is trying to chase you down with no luck, quite honestly, it sucks.

We don't mean to be mean or insult you or anything, and we fully understand why you had to leave, but you've got to at least see where we are coming from?

Barathemos : I wasn't insulted. LOL  (Also, not that it matters, but I wasn't gone for 10 months... haha!)

I personally find it awesome that you're so close on my tail.  You've really grown as a user and made a complete transformation, and you should feel proud that everyone recognizes it. Great job!
