I went to bed at around 4:40 AM after like 21 hours being awake. Things like this happen on workdays right before a day off mid-week, and they absolutely destroy me. The meeting with friends are absolutely worth it, but I'm still destroyed.

I'll go to sleep a lot earlier today, because when the alarm triggers at 7:50 AM tomorrow I need to have my decent sleep or I'll be an absolute zombie at work.

I went to bed sometime after 9. I've been so used to reading before bed that I've become a little too dependent on it like my body sends messages to me that it's time to sleep. Plus I had gotten a new mattress between Summer tours (and before anyone asks yes I've been sleeping comfortably, which is surprising because it's firm)

So for the first time in awhile I finally managed to go to bed at nine thirty rather than nine fifteen and didn't try to sleep til after ten (I guess that Mocha mile high ice cream cake helped I could use it today though) but I was awakened at midnight because I was being grabbed in my dream

I ended up staying as late as 3 AM all because I took a much needed and desired but by no means necessary or productive nap.

It's like the latest I've gone to bed without it being any special day. I didn't go out besides work, no party at home... I simply stayed awake doing things and trying to get sleepy. And well, maybe the heat played a role there too keeping me up.
