I can't argue with that, but actors get more because they put egos out there that have people watching their every step. They have zero privacy, when people are addicted to an actor, they are willing to do anything to see them so a movie director will buy them with whatever amount of money they can to get them in their movie. Camera men are a dime a dozen but famous people aren't.

basketball and baseball players are very overpaid. sure, they play a lot more, but they dont put themselves at harm every game like american football players do. but, since they have more games then football players, it generates more ticket sales, which generates more money for the players, so this is something that, unfortunately, can't be helped, because if football players played as often as the other two, they'd drop dead at 50

I just think it's unfair that we've created a system where we worship someone who can throw a ball or catch a ball or whatever and pay them millions to do it but a lot of other professions that are more important to society (teachers, cops, firemen, etc) don't get paid nearly enough for how difficult and worthwhile their jobs are.

I understand peoples arguments when it comes to the outstanding sums of money a pro athlete makes. I believe they make way to much money, but it is because of it's huge fan base there's no doubt. But why not lower the salary cap and donate a larger portion to charity or to teacher salaries in the area?
