I'm not sure I QUITE understand.  Let everyone submit, and then split off into two groups dependent upon score?  Like group the people that suck together with the people that excel?  And then let those two groups compete with each other and have two winners?

If you do double elimination with 5 days/round the tournament will be on way too long i think. Although if u made it about 2 days per round it could cause more rounds to be played.
