First for me was Sailor Moon. I was almost 13 years old at the time when I saw it. At the time though, I knew nothing at all about anime. I just thought of it as a cartoon show. My sister showed it to me and I fell in love with the show right away. I even used to pretend I was Sailor Moon, then, lol. First anime I ever watch it Dragon ball z and there are my favorite show. Then Yugioh , naruto , and other are next show I been watching all the time. I've seen Naruto fairly early into my anime career and quit at about episode 30. It has good art and animation, but the plot is far too long for me to be patient with and I'm not really into those shows where all people do is beat each other up. Must explain why I also don't like Dragon Ball series.

First anime was definitely Pokémon. To be honest, it was one of the few anime they showed on British terrestrial tv (stuff like Dragonball Z, Sailor Moon etc were on Toonami which we never received as a child).

I remember watching astro boy back in the 80's, not sure if they are actual anime or not though. Also the Gundam seed destiny series and robotech. Though, I might be mixing those last two up a bit, it was a long time ago now lol

The first anime I watched was Vampire Knight. One of my friends was always talking about these cool anime shows. At the time I had no idea what they even were. He wanted me to go home and watch one. I asked for a recommendation and he told me to watch Vampire Knight because he knew how much I loved vampires. I finally watched it and fell in love with it. After that, I was always searching for new anime shows to watch. The ones I have seen recently are NANA and Elfen Lied. Love them both.
