I found Anime on this website whenever I started posting in the forums.  I saw people posting about various Anime's, so I decided to check them out.  I am not exactly the biggest fan of Anime, but I find it rather artistic and interesting.

When toonami first came around that's how I discovered most of the anime I watch that and adult swim... My cousin introduced Full Metal Alchemist to me.. I've been around anime all my life pretty much.

I found it on to when I was 2 years old, it was Pokémon. i loved it but dont watch pokemon anymore

I found out about anime from watching Toonami then forgot about it when toonami was canceled and found it again 2 years ago surfing the web

I found out about anime was probaly when i was little first one ever saw yugioh.

It was Digimon that got me into anime, I remember watching it every morning on a local TV show. I loved the animation style and the way the characters were drawn.

I watched 4kids, which shows pretty much only anime, when i was 2.

I first found out about anime when Toonami was on the air. The first anime I saw was Dragonball Z. 

Been watching Anime fore just about 12 years now. What got me into it was when I saw Akira for the first time. Amazing movie for its time. Since then I have watched well over 200+ anime series and movies. I just love anime.

Currently watching Bleach, and got tired of waiting for dubs for Naruto so I am just about to watch subtitled. Ha ha

Toonami. Cartoon Networks 2 hour segment of anime 13+ years ago...

Well ... I have a four year older sister and she watched the anime which where on TV and I watched with her when I was old enough to watch TV (So like 1 year maybe a little older) and I never stopped watching anime.... when I started watching them on japanese with sub because I couldn't get enough I was like 14 ^^ But I loved anime all the time I can remember <3

I actually discovered anime from a fanfic crossover. I used to be crazy about Chrono Trigger, and when I was looking for something Chrono Trigger related online, I came across a Chrono vs Ranma from Ranma1/2 fanfic. I ended up looking up what Ranma 1/2 was, and I checked some of the volumes from my library. I recall that they didn't have the first few volumes, so I was completely confused. However, I liked the art style. I could never get into American comics, but I liked how the pictures told more of the story than the words. I ended up checking out Maison Ikkoku next because it was by the same manga-ka. I really liked that one, and I was eager to see how it ended. However, my library only had the first few volumes. Then, not too long after, my sisters were discussing older TV shows, and one brought up Sailor Moon. With the magic of YouTube, we watched the sixth episode, and I was drawn into the interesting animation and bizarre humor. I ended up looking up the rest of the episodes online, and I discovered that the Japanese dub was WAY better than the English dub. From there, I watched Tokyo Mew Mew and the start of Inuyasha. Then I discovered the rest of Maison Ikkoku online, and I started really getting into manga. 

linkman245 : my bro showed me this really awesome show.That show is Dragon Ball Z. Fighting, funny moments, and awesome moves i tried to do myself when i was younger xD. it was on cartoon network, and it was an amazing show . My favorite moments would have to be the Cell games. It was awesome, especially the ending

My first anime was dragon ball Z, I got into from an old friend of mine. I got into Death note on my own, my girl helped me tune in to Full Metal Alchemist. I too used to be hooked on Toonami, introduced me to a lot of anime.

I don't really remember how I first came to find anime. I guess I've watched it since I was really little since I was only 4 or 5 and I remember watching Sailor Moon on TV as "New" episodes. XD

Alright...well...I remember that I watched SailorMoon when I was a little girl as well as DBZ and their movies (sailormoon movies too). I loved watching them because it was awesome and romantic and full of action. I also watched another anime (but at the time I didn't know what anime is), if I remembered correctly, Cardcaptor Sakura. The answer to your question, for me, is when I befriended a young lady named Katy. She knew anime more than I did...and so did my brother but I didn't know at that time. She gave me a book which was called Shojo Beat and ever since then, I fell head over heels on anime. So I thank her and my previous anime I've watched
