My favorite animes are Soul Eater, D. Grayman, Gundam, and the slayers series. Even watched D. Grayman in Japanese and for me that's just dedication to this anime since I rarely watch things in Japanese.

In all honesty, I am not a big fan of Americanized anime, or anime that you lose track of that tends to run forever. Some of the animes that I can't stand are ones like Pokémon, Bleach, Inuyasha, DB/DBZ, Naruto, and most of the new Sailor Moon.

If you take out the language, dumb down the violence, cover up the nudity, and remove the drug references, what you are basically left with is a dull Saturday morning cartoon. If you are going to get into anime, the best anime is the uncut Japanese ones. Generally the ones that run only one or two seasons are the best ones. I like to look at it like this:

'If you need 500 episodes to explain a story, you are probably either not telling it very well, or just trying to drag it out to make it last longer. If you only need a few dozen episodes to tell a story, then they are probably all packed with action and are very detailed. A few episodes is all a good storyteller really needs.'

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that those who like the series that I mentioned have bad taste, I'm just saying that I can't get into them personally, because most seem to take the same direction. All that being said, here are some of my favorites:

My all time favorite would have to be The Familiar of Zero. I also like Kaze no Stigma, Hellsing, Bake/Nisemonogatari, and Deathnote. I just finished Mirai Nikki which was good but I think they should have added a couple of minutes to the finale to get the full ending from the Manga worked in. I'm currently watching "Kaichou wa Maid-Sama!" which is very good.

My favorite anime is probably Dragon Ball Z. While I do enjoy Bleach, Pokemon, Naruto, One Piece, and quite a few more, DBZ was the first anime show I watched, and I've loved it since I was like, five. It's a classic to me, in that respect. All of the villains had their own distinct personalities, from Frieza's superiority complex to Cell's obsession with perfection, to Buu's ridiculous insanity and childish, and later, savage, demeanor. I'll never forget those three freaks for as long as I live.

Well everyone has their opinions and are entitled to them...but frankly speaking, all those anime are quite boring...except Rosario+Vampire, kinda like it myself, but hands down its got to be the Original Negima series, the version you can't find online anymore, luckily I own it.

My favorite anime? Easy. 
Rozen Maiden. 

It was easy to relate to the character of jun, as well as enjoy the lulzy sheenanigans the dolls got into each episode. I really enjoyed it, and had never really been a large fan of anime before that.
