OK, so lately I've been surfing the web looking for stories. They were mainly scary stories but I still read them. Around five Pokémon stories I've read creeped me out so much I can't look at Pokémon the same way again. In fact, I get shivers when I hear Pokémon. The stories were so scary too me, (because I'm a scary story noob) I've become afraid of my own house AND I'm really, really paranoid. I need help with this. It's been going on for 1 year already and I want to put an end to this. Can you give me suggestions on what I should do?



P.S I'm not sure if this belongs here or in help and comment forum. Can you tell me? And if it's in the wrong forum can you please move it?

Think of it this way...the stories you heard are fictional. Pokemon and scary stories don't exist and can't harm you in ANY shape, way or form! That should make you feel at least a little better.

I would say to just keep in mind that these stories are over fictional characters. Not only that, but cartoon characters. Maybe I have to read the stories to have the wrong perspective, but I am not sure why something about Squidward committing suicide has to scare you so badly. But again, I haven't read it, so maybe the title is misleading. But cartoon characters and Pokemon are not real, so it is irrational to fear them. But if I'm getting the wrong idea because the titles are misleading, I apologize.

well,i cant offer any advice(i had to eventually accept death when i got scared of hypno LOL)
the easiest thing would be just to think of your time on earth as over,and just accept that calmly.within a while you'll  just eventually forget about it.Just trying to convince yourself that its fake wont work.it'll always be there in your mind,an insect like thing gnawing at your thoughts.

I am so like you get paranoid to, but I get over it by forgetting those stuff and continue what I was doing. Also don't think things that creep you out, but if you do ti watch something to keep your mind off it. This all the advice I could give you and it work for me.

Your not alone I also listen to scary stories start being paranoid and not being able to look at Pokémon the same way I always found that I should rationalize it and if that doesn't work then try to look at the good parts of Pokémon
