Don't worry David. I felt the same way when she died. I was horrified! It's not all that common to kill off someone who seems to be an extremely important character.

It's easier to delete and edit the data you have in a game than to create a lot of data.

This is why they got rid of the ressurection and made it edited.

I would have her become discovered in a new town instead of die. well assuming she fell into water nd her body never found.

First, you have to level her to level 42, and get her 4th level limit break and teach it to her.

Secondly, after she dies you have to go back to Midgar and find the wreakage of the Mako Reactor you blew up in the beginning of the game. Once there, you have to go to the fourth room in, and walk counter-clockwise from the door pressing X, as the item you are looking for, "Bloody Vest".

Instantly equip the accessory on Aeris, even though it subtracts from all stats. (It is okay, because otherwise you lose her forever, and you can unequip it after the cutscene.)

Go to the ancient city, and when Sephiroth descends from the sky, press up, up, down, down, rotate the left analog stick counterclockwise while you rotate the right analog stick clockwise, X, O, Start, Select. Aeris' clothing will change into a tattered vest with bloodstains on it, and as the Masamune, known as the "bloodless sword" due to legend having it that it does not cut the innocent, shatters as it touches the blood on the vest. If you read the description of the vest after this, it will have changed to read "Bloodied by the sacrifice of a virgin in a blood ritual to refine Mako. While it is now known that such rituals are not needed to refine Mako energy, some parts of Midgar still practice the ritual."

Now the alternate plotline will come in, however it will stop after five minutes with a textbox that reads "TO BE CONTINUED, ONCE SEPHIROTH RETRIEVES HIS TRUE BLADE, THE MUSAMANE"

Aeris is not really worth bringing back to life she sucked anyway the only good thing is that she was able to cast stronger white magic as limit breaks

I thought there might have been a way when I she died because there's a blond Aeris on the instruction booklet looking up at the airship. I know those ridiculous overly elaborate fraud cheats don't work though. found that out the hard way with legend of dragoon... It pretty much ruined the game for me >.<

I remember hearing that if you beat emerald and brought the harp to the broken reactor(Its been a while since Ive played , so I can't remember the name of the place)and pressed x she came back to life.Ive also heard that if you stayed at the train in the beginning and fought non-stop for 2 hours, zack would join you.But the idea of aerith coming back to life is impossible because

if she did, then the lifestream wouldn't have saved the planet in the end and everyone, including herself, wouldve died.The only way that bringing her back to life would've worked is if they killed her off right at the end.

*gasp* Get a retro gameshark for playstation 1, grab the cheats I helped write back in highschool on gameshark codes creaters club website and *poof* Aerith is in your party again!

They also gave her dialog placement after her death which begs me to question who didn't want her dead in the first place? This is truth and if you don't believe me just ask yourself, "why the hell did they give her a 4th level limitbreak in the first place?" Someone didn't want her dead.

there is only way to resurrect aerith and that is to cheat using action replay och game shark

Aerith was cool and all...but she was kinda useless in battle...I mean unless you made everyone a black mage then there was really no use for her...however she did have some funny moments.
