Hey guys,

I'm trying to learn Actionscript as the description explains. I'd like to learn it to make games so I bought these books:

Essential Actionscript 3.0 by Colin Moock

Actionscript 3.0 Game Programming University by Gary Rosenzweig

These are the books my school is going to use to teach us actionscript for games. I was told by experienced students that these are in fact good books to start learning from ground zero. But I was wondering if there was anything else I can look into to start learning. I have no programming knowledge might I add so please refer me to a simple actionscript book/website.

Any suggestions or help from anyone would be great appreciated.
