Here's something you may not know, coming from my line of work!

Charles Bonnet Syndrome is a neurological condition that affects your vision, causing you to hallucinate images (like flowers) where everyday objects like faces should be.

It's caused typically by suffering from both glaucoma and macular degeneration (or a loss of both peripheral and central vision)

Even better, the people suffering from hallucinations KNOW their hallucinations are not real. They aren't deluded. Just confused by the brain.

Discussing this with a friend group some time ago, thought it fit in this thread decently enough.

Although cockroaches and their brains are too small to have complex emotions (namely, disgust), they still tend to clean themselves after touching humans. It's likely a simple nervous system reaction to a particular smell we may have, but it's quite interesting to know that cockroaches "feel" toward us the same way that we do about them.
