I am in love with a really cute girl who I first met. in my Hebrew school. We've been in every acting class, every show, and she's always been there to support me in times of need. I can't believe I don't have the guts to ask her out. And it's even worse because we've been very close friends for 3 years.

I don't think I'm in love. There are two girls I know from high school who I get along with. One of them was captain of a sport and now has a bf who is fine with her hanging out with me even though we've never met. I met her through swim team. The other girl is single and was a cheerleader throughout high school. We became friends because I was a jerk for a while in middle school, but she just ignored it. By sophomore or junior year of high school I grew out of it, but I already pushed too many people away. This girl was pretty much my only friend who I wasn't connected to by some sport.

Let me add one little tidbit... I was the nerd who aced all of the math classes in high school, yet I somehow still got these two great girls as friends. They have flirted with me occasionally in the past, but I don't think I love them at any level beyond friendship.

I am in love with someone who is my complete opposite. We have been dating for 2 years now and I am still very much in love with him. We are engaged now yay! But we are so different, we grew up in completely different cultures and with different faiths. We both agreed we will learn about each others culture and faith so neither of us will cross a line. It is still very hard on us sometimes because there are a lot of people who are not okay with us being together and always put their say in it. But he is very much my other self. He is logical and I am fantasy. That is the best way I can describe it, he likes reading about engineering and I like reading horoscopes lol. The list is to huge of how different we are so I'll say what we have in common. We like being goofy together and a lot of times don't make sense to other people. Almost everyday we laugh so hard our stomachs hurt and we have a blast pulling pranks on each other. YES!! We act like children! lol I tried not to make this too long and boring.

LordLucario21 : I know how you feel. The courage to talk to them about stuff like that can be hard to attain. Remember, don't be so blunt with it (unless she's a strict business woman). Invite her to go somewhere that you wouldn't usually go (maybe a little romantic or whatever) and see what happens. However, if letting her know how you feel may ruin the friendship (been there), then be very careful.

starburst6669thorn : It's really interesting to me how we look at people of other cultures so differently. We are all 99.9% similar genetically, we all are African, and yet we can treat others like they're among a different species. I commend you for not allowing others' ignorance to sway you. If you love each other for so long and you respect each others differences, I don't see any problems with that at all.

Nope, I'm not in love. I haven't been in love since the 7th grade. (going into 12th grade this year) I'm actually kind of glad though because I don't want to be emotionally invested in another person right now, nor do I have any intention of maintaining a relationship. (Not saying that I'd cheat or anything, just It wouldn't be much of a relationship) I found a college that I really want to go to so I'm going to dedicate my senior year to studying seriously to get some bang-up grades. I'll save it for college, and I think that when I go to college, I'll have more interest in dating. But of course, I'll still focus primarily on learning.

Nope, I've never been in love for real. Sure, I've had major crushes, brief loves, hefty likes, but the top tier, being in love? No.
I don't see myself being in love in the near future, but who knows!

I'm not in love at the moment. Single is fine for me. A lot more time = A lot more fun.

I have a girlfriend now. We've been on and off and finally we are back together.
