I like both the old school retro games & the modern games. With the retro games there are alot of games that kids still talk about today & some games were a bit cheesey when they came out but really cool games. The modern games are so addicting in a way with the graphics, the sounds, the controls & the story. Now days, the modern games are 3D real life type of games like Halo, Pokemon, Sonic, etc. Verus the retro games when they were 1D or 2D games....Either way, both the retro & the modern games did & still is changing our lifes on what we think & do in our everyday lives.

I like Both Retro and Modern games. whenever I'm done playing a modern game, I will start playing a retro game. I like them both and do not discriminate on one or the other because "the graphics are better in 3d then in 2d." Gameplay is what matters to me not the graphics.

I would think Its up to the gamer whether he or she prefers the retro games that will last you hours plus frustration, or the modern games which lasts you hours with disgust because they were just too easy. I personally love retro games and prefer them over the modern games any day, but I also like some of the modern games too like the newer Zelda games (Twilight princess for example), and of course the RPGs that are out are very fun.

I would definitely say that retro games are amazingly awesome, but the newer games present, well, NEW material. So I think that Retro is better, because they are old and still fun, but the new games are only fun because they just came out and it has to be played. I always seem to be going back to the retro games, especially when a new game gets old.

I like the retro games better. The repeating techno-tunes, the simple, yet good, stories, and the pure feeling of them. Modern games are ok, but I think that older games have that special something that makes them fun to play over and over.

I would choose the retro games because back then, it wasn't all about the graphics. Sure there were some games that were made just to look good but mostly, unlike today, the games main objective was to entertain the audience to play the game over and over like the phantasy star games.

the classics are for sure better then the new ones because the have better game play and they are harder to beat than the new titles.i wish they would combine the new graphics with the old style of making games.
