Another vote for gatorade even though I usually only drink the glacier freeze kind.  It's very good after a night of hard partying.    Lately I've been drinking vitamin water instead though.  I like the kind that's called "Revive".

I like powerade out of these two. 

I think it's more to do with advertising and availability than taste.

Me personally i like lucozade better than both of these but there isnt an option for that

Powerade contains a greater verity of electrolytes --Sodium, Potassium, Calcium, and Magnesium; Gatorade contains mostly only Sodium and Potassium, though the sodium it contains is over double that of powerade.

Powerade also contains very slightly more carbs.

If you drink energy drinks when they are meant to be drunk (only when performing long intense activities, preferably where you perspire), then I would argue that, as powerade gives you more complete electrolytes, it's a slightly better choice. Also, Gatorade has double the sodium, so unless you perspired excessively for a very long time, it is more sodium than you need (as our diets tend to be very sodium rich anyway).

Bottom line: for fitness enthusiasts, maybe not marathon runners, Powerade is a slightly more balanced drink.

I don't really like the taste of Powerade . It tastes done freaking
watery . I prefer Gatorade not only cause of it's taste also
because it feel like it does the job better than Powerade does.
It pumps me up and give me the energy I need for what ever
I'm doing that needs that extra boost.

Like how I was do an 6 mile walk in Florida when I was lost.
Gatorade helped me regain my strength .
